Matt Warner socked a two-run homer down the left-field line in the bottom of the extra eighth inning to give UTB/TSC a dramatic 8-6 victory over The University of Houston-Victoria and a four-game series sweep at Scorpion Field Sunday night.
 
UTB/TSC won the first game of the doubleheader, 5-3. Coupled with victories Saturday by 8-2 and 13-0 scores, UTB/TSC swept the series, 4-0, marking the first four-game series sweep by the Scorpions since joining the NAIA in 2007.
 
The Scorpions are now 5-3 overall while UHV dropped its ninth straight decision and is now 1-10.

UTB/TSC put together two solid hitting and pitching performances in both ends of a doubleheader sweep over The University of Houston-Victoria, 8-2 and 13-0, Saturday at Scorpion Field.
 
The Scorpions improved their season record to 3-3 while UHV dropped to 1-8.

UTB/TSC gets back to serious business when the Scorpions host The University of Houston-Victoria in a four-game series Saturday and Sunday at Scorpion Field.
 
The Scorpions (1-3) and Jaguars (1-6) meet in doubleheaders at 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. All games are scheduled to go seven innings. Live video!  Live Stats Game 1   Live Stats Game 2
