No. 4 Belhaven (Miss.) (5-0-0) vs. No. 15 Texas at Brownsville (1-0-3)
Saturday, Sept. 15, Orange Beach, Ala., 7:30 p.m. CDT, Orange Beach SportsPlex

Undefeated teams, No. 4 Belhaven (Miss.) and No. 15 Texas at Brownsville, meet up on Saturday in Orange Beach, Ala., on Saturday. The Blazers have won five-straight to open the year, while Texas at Brownsville stands at 1-0-3. The Orange Beach SportsPlex has been home to the last two men's soccer national championships.

Two other teams are part of the neutral-site tournament in Orange Beach: Embry-Riddle (Fla.) and No. 21 Mobile (Ala.). Belhaven takes on Embry-Riddle on Friday, while the Scorpions face Mobile that night.

These two teams last met on Nov. 19, 2011 in the National Championship Opening Round. The Blazers held on for a 3-2 win after holding a 3-0 lead at the half.
Belhaven won its last match defeating Texas College, 4-0, in the home opener on Sept. 8. The Blazers are tied for the early conference lead in the Southern States Athletic Conference standings.

Belhaven has been solid on offense and defense ranking ninth in the NAIA in total goals (21) and third in shutout victories (3). The Blazers also boast the nation's leading scorer with junior forward Will Monsour, who has amassed 10 goals. In addition, he sits with 23 points and four game-winning goals.

Texas at Brownsville has played some of the best competition early on the year. Most recently, the Scorpions posted a 2-2 tie against then-No. 10 Missouri Valley on Sept. 4. The 2-0 win over then-No. 2 Baker (Kan.) on Sept. 2 is the highlight of the early season.

Leonardo Medeiros leads UTb/TSC with three goals and six points. Ben Perez has played every minute in goal for UTB/TSC and currently has allowed 1.45 goals on average and posted 28 total saves.

Last year, Belhaven was 1-2-0 in neutral-site games and UTB/TSC  was 2-4-0.
