The UTB/TSC Women's Soccer team has not lost in over a month and on Saturday afternoon blanked out Bacone College 6-0 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to go to 5-0 in conference.

The barrage of scoring from UTB/TSC started with a solo score in the first half. Susana Munoz found the back of the net on an assist from Jodie Hunter for the early 1-0 lead.

UTB/TSC hit paydirt five more times all in the second half. First, Abigail Perez set up Thea Dybvig for goal number two. The third score came on an assist from Monica Mendes to Tabata Vieira. Mendes scored the next goal unassisted to put UTB/TSC up 4-0.

"The recent return of Monica Mendes and Isadora Freitas in the lineup after missing initial part of our season due to injury gives us a lot more options defensively and offensively." said UTB/TSC head coach Nik Barjaktarevic.

Nicole Heer was involved in the last two scores of the game, first by scoring the fifth goal unassisted and then setting up teamate Nelleke Smits to top the scoring and for the final 6-0 tally.

A total of six different players scored in the game for UTB/TSC.

"It's always good to have different players score, six total versus Bacone." said Barjaktarevic. "I feel we started to find our rhythm and our movement is better but we have to continue working hard as we near the second part of conference play.

The Women's team last defeat came in an OT thriller at Missouri Valley College back on September 4. Since then UTB/TSC has reeled off seven straight wins outscoring their opponents by a total of 30-1.

"What helped us achieve a win today was us playing sharp defensively and not conseeding any goals was obviously a very important factor in winning the last seven games." said Barjaktarevic.

Up next for UTB/TSC after this succesful two win road trip is Huston-Tillotson on Thursday at Scorpion Soccer Field. Game start time is 7 p.m.

"We definitely made it look easy but it took a lot of hard work to win these two games on the road." said Barjaktarevic.
