The Women's UTB/TSC Golf team will be competing at the Talamonti Invitational in Houston, Texas hosted by the University of St. Thomas starting on Monday.

Competing for the women's team this week will be senior Cat Lira, junior Liz Garza, sophomores Alainey Muro, Veronika Vasquez and Freshman Angela Zepeda. This event will be the second time the team competes in a tourney this season.

As of late the women's team has been doing really well so really look for them to compete for the title at this invitational.

"Our team needs to keep doing what they are doing and simply compete, they are playing great right now and I fully expect them to be victorious this week." said head coach Anthony Lopez.

The tournament is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
