In a hard fought double overtime battle the UTB and TSC women's soccer team tie the Northwood University Lady Knights 1-1 on Saturday morning in Cedar Hill, Texas.

"We knew today would be a tough game and it was." said UTB and TSC head coach Nik Barjaktarevic.

UTB and TSC lone goal came in the second half with 30:09 left in the game when Isadora Freitas put it in the net to tie it at 1-1. 

"We stayed composed to come back from a goal down and tie it which is never an easy thing to do." said Barjaktarevic. "It's great preparation for us as we get closer to the end of the season. We relish the challenges and will take the positives from this game as we move forward towards our conference title."

The UTB and TSC women's team plays a home game next Saturday versus Our Lady of the Lake at Scorpion Field.

"We are still in position to control the outcome and secure first place at home versus OLLU." said Barjaktarevic.
