
The UTB and TSC Men's soccer team took a 2-1 lead into intermission but could not hold the Northwood University Knights second half run and lose a close one on the road in Cedar Hill, Texas 3-2.
The UTB and TSC men's team took the lead 2-1 on goals by Ricardo Diegues in the 31st minute of the contest on an assist by Perry Goldsbury and another goal by Leonardo Medeiros in the 38th minute.
"We did the hard work to put ourselves back up 2-1." said UTB and TSC head coach Dan Balaguero. "From there we have to go and with the game."
In the second half the Knights found the net twice with the winning goal coming with 16:01 left in the game to seal the final score.
"We switched off in the second half and Northwood out worked us and we could not match their energy." said Balaguero. "Let's give Northwood a ton of credit they played very well and deserved the win."
UTB and TSC come back home after a two game stint on the road to play Our Lady of the Lake on Saturday at Scorpion Field. Game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
"Now we have to regroup and get ready for a big challenge from OLLU next Saturday." said Balaguero.
