
The Men and Women's soccer teams will be home one last time this regular season tomorrow afternoon at Scorpion Field.
UTB and TSC will be celebrating Senior Day.
Three seniors on the Men's team will be saying good-bye to Scorpion Field.
Nestor Morales, Jose Galvan, and Robin Ejdeholm will play their last home regular season game tomorrow.
Ten women players will also bid farewell.
They are: Karla Hernandez, Chelsea Maidment, Jodie Hunter, Abigail Perez, Emily Husband, Leah Russell, Melissa Moreno, Nicole Sereda, Julia Dell 'Aquila and, Susana Munoz
The Women's team will play at 3 p.m. and with the Men following at 5 p.m.
Both teams will be playing the Our Lady of the Lake University Saints.
The UTB and TSC Women's team (8-0-1, in conference) are coming into the contest after tying Northwood University last Saturday in Cedar, Hill, Texas. The sole goal came from Isadora Freitas. For the rest of the match UTB and TSC played outstanding defense and goal keeper Amanda Fulton was recognized as the Red River Athletic Conference Defensive player of the week for her efforts. She had five saves in the Northwood tie.
The Men's soccer team (8-2, in conference), after taking an early 2-1 lead, lost a really close battle to Northwood 3-2 also last Saturday. The lose came two days after they had routed Louisiana State University - Shreveport 7-1 last Thursday. Ricardo Diegues found the back of the net three times in the win over LSU-Shreveport.
After the loss to Northwood last Saturday Men's head coach Dan Balaguero was quoted by saying, "Now we have to regroup and get ready for a big challenge from OLLU next Saturday."
Working hard this week in the Deep South Texas heat both the Men's and Women's squads will be ready for OLLU.
