The UTB and TSC Women's Soccer team took out an offensive barrage on Texas Wesleyan Saturday afternoon to win the 2012 RRAC Tournament Championship in Cedar Hill, Texas 6-0.

The scoring began when sure footed Monica Mendes got past the goalie on an assist by Nicole Heer with 34:42 left in the first half. UTB and TSC would strike again before halftime. This time it was Isadora Freitas with 24:03 left in the half.

The second half would be much of the same for UTB and TSC finding the net four more times.

With 39:33 left in the second half Tabata Vieira setup Leah Russel to make it 3-0. The next score came on a double assist from Vieira and Heer and Nelleke Smits put it in the net to make it 4-0 with 27:25 left in the match.

Smits made it two in a row scoring on an assist by Mendes with 14:33 showing on the game clock. The last goal of the afternoon came off the foot of Mendes to finalize the score at 6-0.

UTB and TSC now wait for Tuesday when the field for the NAIA National Tournament will be announced. The orange and blue will be hosting or on the road for the first round game of the tournament depending on their tournament seed.
