"We are very excited to get to host this year's Red River Athletic Conference tournament." Coach Todd Lowery said. "The girls are excited to be back home after a couple long road trips. I think we are ready to put on a great performance this weekend."

The Ocelots have only been home once since beating then No. 1 Concordia University on October 19. In the eight matches that followed the Concordia win, the Ocelots have beaten No. 10 Embry-Riddle, No. 9 Lindsey Wilson and No. 7 Oklahoma Baptist University all on the road.

UTB is currently undefeated on the season with a 29-0 overall record and a 13-0 conference mark.

"I think we have done a great job of improving out on the road over the last couple weeks." Lowery said. "I really think we are playing our best volleyball of the season right now as we head into postseason and that is a great feeling."

Note: The Volleyball team will honor former UTB Athletics Operations Manager Eucebio Garza, before the start of the championship match, who passed away in September and who was an instrumental part of the day-to-day operations with the department. He had been part of UTB athletics since November 2002.
