Scorpion freshman defender Jodie Hunter and junior goalkeeper Stephanie Reid have been named as Honorable Mentions on the 2009 NAIA Women's Soccer All-America Teams, as selected by the NAIA Women's Soccer All-America Selection Committee.
 
Hunter and Reid were both named to the First Team on the Red River Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.
 
Hunter, who came to UTB/TSC from Batley, England, was named RRAC Defensive Player of the Year. She was one of the defensive forces on a Scorpion team that stopped six opponents without a goal during the season.
 
Reid, who grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, was the goalkeeper on the six shutouts. She played during her freshman year at University of the Cumberlands.
 
The Scorpions won the Red River Athletic Conference tournament championship and advanced to the NAIA National Women's Soccer Championship Opening Round. UTB/TSC was eliminated by Southern Nazarene University, 4-1, ending a successful season with a record of 11-5-2.
