"We had a lot of fun and it was nice being able to share with them what we know about the game of volleyball," Santos said. "We showed them that volleyball is open to anyone to play, that it is a fun game and easy to learn. Volleyball also helps to enhance physical health and develop habits and attitudes which will help them succeed in other areas of life."

In the first lesson, the Scorpions showed the girls how to improve their volleyball skills such as passing and setting. The second session consisted of teamwork activities to improve their communication skills and learn the value of teamwork.
