Members of the UTB/TSC women's soccer team participated in the Girls Scout Camp Bayview January 30, organizing soccer activities and talking to them about college life and soccer.

"They were hugely popular with the girls and the adults, and everyone raved about them," said Penny "Dutch" Crispin, Coordinator of the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas, which includes 26 counties.. "They were friendly, polite, enthusiastic, and really wonderful young women to lead activities with our Girl Scouts."

The international student-athletes also discussed experiences as international students with the girls, who are in grades 7-12.

The Girl Scouts invited the student-athletes to return to the camp in 2011.
