GRAND PRAIRIE -- The UTB/TSC women's golf team finished the second day of the 2010 Bluebonnet Classic in the same position they held after the first day -- in eighth place Tuesday at Tangle Ridge Golf Club.

After an opening-round score of 370, the Scorpions shot 378 Tuesday for a 748 total. Redlands Community College (Kan.) bested the nine-team field with a two-day total of 625.

Larissa Loredo finished with the team's best score so far -- 89 and 92 for a 181 total. Krystal Garza, who had a 87 score Monday, finished with 97 Tuesday for a 184 total.

 Andrea Cadriel finished with a 186 and Cat Lira 201. Pamela Lopez finished with a 205 total which did not count toward the team total.

The Scorpions' next competition will be at the Red River Athletic Conference/Regional Tournament April 26-27 in Oklahoma City.
