FORT WORTH -- Today is the day when UTB/TSC will try to claim its fourth team championship in its athletic program for the 2009-10 season.

Three teams from Scorpion fall sports programs -- men's and women's soccer teams, and volleyball -- all claimed Red River Athletic Conference championships, and all were crowned in Fort Worth.

UTB/TSC goes for number four when the Scorpions meet Texas Wesleyan University at 10 a.m. today at LaGrave Field. Follow the game with live stats here and tune in for live audio and video (yes, it's working) of the game at www.utbstingradio.com and select the Athletics tab.

UTB/TSC has already clinched its first-ever NAIA National Championship Opening Round berth in baseball, since the top two tournament teams qualify. The Scorpions will play in a five-team tournament at either Lubbock, Oklahoma City (Okla.), or Jackson (Miss.) May 18-21.

The Scorpions have set another record -- 30 wins. The previous high was 28 wins in the 2009 season when the Scorpions went 28-31. UTB/TSC already clinched a winning season for the first time in the NAIA era.
