"What a great talent we have here in Rio Grande Valley and I always get excited with soccer players who are willing to work hard on improving their skills and knowledge of the game," Scorpion head women's soccer coach
Nik Barjaktarevic said. "The camp was a lot of fun and we got to know a lot of youth players who genuinely love the game of soccer."
The first summer camp was held in June.
"I'm sure they enjoyed working with some of our college players and will have their favorites to cheer for this upcoming fall season for the Scorpions," Barjaktarevic said.
The Scorpion women's soccer team begins its season at home August 28. The men's team begins on the road August 27 and plays its first regular season home game Sept. 25.
