Matt Warner is an outfielder for the Scorpions and is a sophomore Kinesiology major ... He is from Henderson, Nevada and graduated from Silverado High School where he lettered for three years ... During the 2008 season, he played at The University of Cumberlands (Ky.), where he batted .317 in 2008 with 20 hits and 16 RBI .... In high school, his team won a regional championship during his sophomore season and a divisional championship during his junior season and advanced to the Nevada state championship game his senior year ... He was a career .330 hitter in high school.
