        <description>&lt;div&gt;CORPUS CHRISTI -- Texas A&amp;amp;M University-Corpus Christi put an end to the Scorpions' stretch of 15 straight road games with a 14-5 victory over the Scorpions Tuesday at Chapman Field.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;UTB/TSC is now 8-15 for the season while the NCAA Division I&amp;nbsp;Islanders, members of the Southland Conference,&amp;nbsp;are now 7-4. The game marked the first time the two teams played each other in any sport.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

players Steve Howard and Chris Scott, and women's soccer players
Carling Rootes and Theresa Berman were involved in important activities
in the awards area for the Special Olympians upon finishing their races
in preparation for their awards.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;More than 400 BISD students participated in the meet. There were more than 100 volunteers.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;Upon the completion of more than 60 events, the student-athletes
received the award recipients. They organized them for the gold, silver
and bronze medals for the top three finishers, and ribbons for those
who finished in fourth, fifth and sixth places.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

&lt;div&gt;The Scorpions were tied with UT-Tyler after the first day Monday with 311 scores, but UT-Tyler shot 306 Tuesday while the Scorpions posted a 312 score to finish six strokes back in the nine-team field with a 623 total.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;Scorpion sophomore Matt Ginn has been named Red River Athletic Conference Baseball Co-Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;Ginn, a first baseman and designated hitter from Midlothian, Ill., hit two home runs, drove in nine runs and scored six times in a 1-3 week for the Scorpions in the Al Ogletree Classic hosted by The University of Texas-Pan American.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div&gt;He accounted for at least one RBI in all four games including one each in two games against the UTPA. In&amp;nbsp;two games against&amp;nbsp;NCAA Division I opponent Prairie View A&amp;amp;M University (Texas), Ginn contributed a run-scoring double as the Scorpions dropped the opener, 5-4.&lt;/div&gt;</description>

        <description>&lt;div&gt;EDINBURG -- Three home runs with the help of a strong southerly wind&amp;nbsp;-- two by Matt Ginn and one by Brian Bustos -- lifted UTB/TSC to an 11-8 win over Prairie View A&amp;amp;M University&amp;nbsp;Sunday in the Al Ogletree Classic &amp;nbsp;at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp; 
&lt;div&gt;In the second game of the day, The University of Texas-Pan American used a six-run eighth inning to turn a 9-7 Scorpion lead into a 13-9 victory.&lt;/div&gt;&amp;nbsp;
